Max Paardekam

Max Paardekam builds the web from Rotterdam

Web developer and Creative Software Development student at Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam. I run Nuxio, a studio that builds websites for local businesses in five days.

A student who already runs a studio. I draw every site before I build it, and launch it in days, not months.

  • Education: Creative Software Developer, Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam, since 2025
  • Studio: Founder of Nuxio, websites for local businesses
  • Teamwork: School and hackathon projects with Tristan, Musab, Floris and Hicham
  • Interests: AI, automation and Home Assistant

Every site starts as a drawing

Most websites are assembled. I draft mine: structure first, then components, then a test in a real browser, then a deploy. The same four steps on a school project as on a client site.

  1. Wireframes before code

Layouts start in Figma or on paper, so the structure is right before anything is styled.

  2. Components, not pages

React and TypeScript, or plain HTML, CSS and PHP when that is enough. Small parts, reused everywhere.

  3. Checked in a real browser

Playwright and Vitest, keyboard focus, contrast and phone widths, before anyone else sees it.

  4. Live in days

Deployed to Vercel or Netlify with a domain, analytics and a handover. Nuxio sites go live in five days.

Working from Rotterdam

Every drawing and photograph on this page is a real place in the city where I study and work. This is the site plan. Pick a place to fly there.

  • Kubuswoningen: Overblaak · in drawing A-01 at the top
